WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE

Stream 2

As you probably know Shetland has a bleak, virtually treeless landscape, although you will find some small trees and shrubs planted around homes. So it is the sea shown in our central picture that dominates a Shetlanders life. When Shetlanders came to New Zealand many were drawn to Wellington with its rugged landscape and natural harbour. But the settlers also found a landscape rich with flora and fauna, hence the bush scene surrounding the page.
